On Monday 6th November 2023, to mark a century and a half since the founding of the Handtmann organisation, Handtmann Ltd had the pleasure of welcoming Markus Handtmann and Valentin Ulrich to the UK, as part of their Handtmann 150th anniversary world tour visits.
To celebrate the company’s huge milestone and on welcoming Markus and Valentin, Handtmann Ltd exhibited a ‘Handtmann Through the Years’ archive with monumental memorabilia, that showcased the company’s evolution over time. In addition to this, Markus and Valentin delivered an informative presentation on the business’s development from its origin till now, to the Handtmann Ltd staff body.
Markus Handtmann explained “Handtmann Ltd has special significance in the development of the Handtmann business. Handtmann Ltd became the first foreign subsidiary of Handtmann Maschinenfabrik, making the company an international business back in 1986.”
On the occasion of the company’s 150th anniversary, after 25 years, Thomas Handtmann passes on the management to his nephew Valentin Ulrich and his son Markus Handtmann. With the new management duo, the fifth generation takes the helm of the family-owned company.
On the evening of 6th November with a relaxed and informal backdrop, Handtmann Ltd staff enjoyed a team dinner which provided the opportunity to get to know the new management team better.
