State-of-the-art Technology for the Third Archers Generation.
Sausage manufacturing had doubled for the Archers Butchers team in recent times, and they were looking for a fast, reliable solution for the production of their artisan sausages. It was crucial for the customer to retain the artisan look and feel of their sausages and for their product to not be overworked on the machine.
Their existing solution was a piston filler and it was Handtmann’s task to prove within a test kitchen demonstration that a repeatable, artisan-style sausage, with the correct texture and appearance, could be achieved on a Handtmann Vacuum Filler.
James Archer wanted a solution that could be serviced quickly and efficiently, preferably by the manufacturer, and Handtmann’s reputable service department can do just that.
The Handtmann VF 608 Vacuum Filler
During a test kitchen demonstration, Handtmann proved that the Handtmann VF608 Vacuum Filler and HV414 Holding Device were the ideal combined solution to execute the perfect production of Archer’s coarser artisan sausage.
Handtmann showed that vacuum filling worked successfully over piston filling.
Exceeding Customer Expectation
With their new solution in place and production up and running, James Archer and the team are extremely satisfied with the output of the machine and have confidence in both the Handtmann equipment and support. They appreciate the quality of the product produced on the machine, the training given, and the ease of use.
The solution provides a greater degree of efficiency, accuracy and speed, while minimising waste.
